I had the unique privilege of photographing an elite athlete this week. What an honor.
Alexa Loo is a member of the Canadian Women's Snowboard Team. She is definitely one to watch for when the games arrive here in 2010.
This session was a total departure from my comfort zone...and I loved every minute of it! It is always empowering to force myself outside of my comfort zone, trust my instincts, and leap into a new experience. Inevitably I grow and learn in ways I never imagined. This experience was no exception. I drew my inspiration from Alexa, and feel very proud of what we created together.
